Last night's rehearsal wasn't nearly as good as Wednesday. Not that it wasn't as good, but the energy wasn't as high. To be fair we were rehearsing the second half of the show which is a lot darker than the first half, and therefore it is harder to pull that energy out of thin air and just jump in when you are doing sad and dark scenes. Tonight we are running the entire show and I think the second half is going to be better than it ever has because we have all fun light stuff in the first half to build momentum and carry us through the dark second half.
I have my class tonight from 6-7, and hopefully I can manage to get to the rehearsal space before everyone starts, especially since all my stuff is basically in the beginning.

- I live in Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada with my partner of 10 years Darrell, and our two Labrador retrievers, Tiffy (Black Lab female), and Elton (Yellow Lab male). I am a 3d animator and Graphic artist, and Darrell does television video filming and editing. We have a house full of rare and exotic plants including a Cocoa tree that I had shipped from Florida. I love reading, have written my first novel (unpublished) and have plans for a second. I used to be a professional singer and now get my vocal kicks in musical theatre with the Saint John Theatre Company, Symphony New Brunswick, and Opera New Brunswick. I'm turning 36 in May 2007, and all in all have a pretty happy life.
